Our bamboo fencing is harvested from sustainably managed bamboo forests in Indonesia. Consider Sealing After Installation.

Bamboo is one of the strongest building materials on earth and is eco-friendly from a renewable resource. But like any other natural material this also means that proper installation and care requires a higher level of attention.

We would recommend  to apply new UV rated coating oil / water based oil for outdoor wood after 3-4 months installation this to allow the existing coat to breaks down.

  • Wipe down fence to remove dust or other contaminants, when cleaning your exterior bamboo fencing, have a nylon bristle scrub brush handy for scrubbing down the surface and use a hose or power washer to rinse the material, removing any dirt or residue.

  • Clean fence with mild dish soap and water using a light bristle brush

  • Rinse and wait 24 hours before applying this to allow the bamboo properly dry.

Re-apply the sealing after second summer

  • Cleaning Bamboo that is weathered or mould that might occurs.
Cleaning Solutions: Combine 3⁄4 parts water, 1⁄4 parts bleach, or use any environment-friendly fence cleaner available from your favourite hardware store. Spray the bamboo deliberately with cleaning solution, allow solution to soak in for 15-20 minutes, scrub surface with a nylon bristle brush and then wipe away loosened residue with a rag, thoroughly rinse the bamboo fence with a power washer or hose and allow at least 2 days for the bamboo to dry completely.

  • Tools : Power Washer (if available) or hose

  • Choose the right sealant for your bamboo

  • Apply first coat of the weather-protectant containing fungicide and UV-inhibitor (optional)

  • Apply first of UV rated Coating oil or water based oil for outdoor wood, coat to bamboo using a brush, roller or spray equipment. The best finish will achieve with two coats. Allow 3 days for the first coat to dry thoroughly

  • Do not apply if rain is expected within 48 hours or heavy dew is present

Regular maintenance should include cleaning away debris that has buildup around your fence –

especially in dark or wet areas. It is a good idea to edge and trim the area around your fence.

Future maintenance: Clean and re-seal your fence regularly every year, or as needed, depending on the climate conditions in your area.

Wood Wall Panel Care Instruction

Maintaining Wood Wall Panel

In period of time, stains as well as wear and tear can diminish wood paneling, hence, regular cleaning and maintenance is required to restore the look of the wood panels.

Here are several ways to maintain the wood wall panel to last longer.

  • Dust is the common dirt and tend to appear in period of time, it can be wipe away with a natural cleaner, which doesn't add its own discolouration, and gently wipe down the area. Or, consider using a microfibre cloth and gently move the cloth over.

  • Set up a regular cleaning schedule to keep the wood paneling looking like new. For the long term, this is the best approach for keeping the wood in the best condition possible. For wood paneling on just the lower half of a wall, use a dusting cloth to remove dirt and lint, which can collect more often in this area. For full walls or upper walls, get a duster with an extension. Then, apply a solution of oil soap and water, and wash down the walls. Follow it up with a dry cloth, which helps to wick away leftover moisture.

  • Maintain wood by not placing near heaters and air conditioning units to prevent over-drying or exposure to excessive moisture.

  • Do not place/leave hot or moist objects directly on the wood. As extreme humidity can cause wood to crack and lacquer to lift, do not wrap, as plastic left on the wood finish can also damage the finish.

  • Do not use commercial, heavy-duty polishes or waxes, as they can yellow light finishes.

  • We recommend that stained or soiled wood or lacquer pieces be professionally cleaned or refinished and by using the right maintenance products.
